did anyone have a chance to ride the phaser in the snow last winter? was the riding style anything like the rev? how was the power and can you compare it to any other sled? did the skiis do any darting like the apex does? thanks for any replies

I did and it was awesome. The sled didnt dart at all and was like riding a rev but easier. I am a big guy, 6'7" and the rev is crowded to me but this sled felt perfect. The panels dont crowd your knees and steering effort was flwaless. Its a great sled and perfectly balanced in my mind. My wife can even get my new mtn lite up on its side without effort.

I havent ridden one, but I sat on a Phazer FX the other day and I was suprised how light it felt.
I was amazed at how easy it was to lean it up on one skis just by shifting your weight by standing.
I thought it felt really comfy too. You could scoot right up on the bars and your knees dont hit the panels.
All in all, Im REALLY excited about the coming winter.

I only rode the Mtn, but I would have to say it is nothing like a rev. I hated the rev, and would love a Mtn lite in the trailer as a backup or another sled to ride.

phazer

I rode them twice. It's like no other snmow mobile the thing feels like as light as a sport quad it's very easy to manuevor and throw aroung. It's a blast to ride as far as the power it's 80hp.I think it'sd comparable to the phazer 2stroke as far as powerwise.

it is an amazing little ride, way more comfortable and such than a rev, just not the power options....

as far as i am concerned a definate winner.... when we rode them at muni, the trails were about as bad as could ever be, and on the phazer i found myself looking for the bumps.... thats how good it is....

definately a winner, and with some more power options it will be the future of snowmobiles. (although im really liking my new attak sitting in the garage)......

all i can say is supercharge and some spray and these little beasts will be flying-if i didnt have my rage i would have bought one...but my rage is customized to my liking and she loves to boondock

^You guys are getting me more and more pumped up about my new sled!!!!
The trails in Wisconsin open in a little over 2 months! C'mon mother nature, bring on the snow 'n cold!!!

I rode in March(IIRC) at rabbit ears, rides great
it was spring snow, it darted a little, but I think it
could have been me, just getting used to it.

My MTN lite should be here any day.

Oh God, you have no idea!!! Ive been a Yamaha guy who rode a Polaris for the past few years, it feels soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good to be a Yamaha guy who rides a Yamaha.
Its feels like Im finally where I belong and that is a good feeling. ;)!

Ummmm, I dunno. The Eagle River one is a possibility.
Eagle River is about a 2 hour ride from Saint Germain and Im not sure if I would feel comfortable making that trek alone. If I can talk my brother into coming along I will probably come along, but Im not sure he will want to come along.
What I might do is just load the sled up in the back of my truck and just drive to Eagle River, unload, ride with you guys and then load it back into my track and haul it back to Saint Germain.
I dunno. We will have to see when it gets closer.
Id love to go on a TY ride though, Im sure it would be a blast and it would be nice to meet some of the people I talk to on here every day.

ouch...ur way down there man...well to be honest with u if u were interested in goin on a ride just post on one of the ty ride threads and say ur interested in going but would like to trailer with someone....and i could try and help u out since i have been on a few rides and know a lot of members...if u could make it to one ride and wanted to try and meet as many guys as possible...make it to one of the muni rides because after the riding is done we all head out to the garage and bs-get to know eachother its just a blast

Maybe. I can drive to Eagle River in my truck in about 20 minutes, so its not that big of a deal.
The the quickest route to ER by snowmobile is a trail that gets a lot of traffic and is usually down to the dirt. Id really prefer to not go that route, especially with a brand new sled.
We'll see...
