I was rideing and the gauges started blinking on and off and tach was going up and down sled ran great when this was going on but when I got home I shut the sled off and it was dead. It will start with a jump from my charger but when I rev it up the headlite dimes down even with the charger still hooked up to it. I am thinking batt is shot. I will take it out and get it tested on Monday. what do you guys think? thanks to all for any help.

You have to test the battery and the charging system!
Put the battery on a charger and bring it up to full charge and then load test it!
If the battery is good then you should test the charging system with a Multi Meter to see if it is charging properly.
It just might need a new battery, I've seen this same thing happen to a friend on his 05 Rage.

With a "Multi Meter"! You can buy one at the local Auto Parts store.

ALso check the wiring at the front of the hood to make sure they are not wearing through. Sounds like a bad batt or intermittant short.

Hook your meter up to the external connectors to your Battery which are located near your oil tank. Red to Red, and Black to Black. Here are the numbers that I get on my 2004 Warrior:
Voltage at idle and at higher revs remains constant about 14.40 volts DC
