Thanks in advance for any info.

I dont know the dimension of them but all i know is that they are HUGE! Biggest ones Ive seen in a long time.

Hey Matt.

So specifically, what items can you fit in there when you do a 5 day'er trip?
E.g 2prs Socks, 1 pr Running Shoes, etc.

I just bought the one that Swiss Sledder posted today but not in blue. The color matching on the bag vs the bluse seat on the Apex/Nytro's are off so much that it IMO, it really looks bad. Someone if your into color coordinating. I ended up getting the same model but in all black, After I install the rivets, I will measure it up and post.

Here are the dimensions of the blue bag. They are listed in INCHES.

These are the only items I pack in my saddlebag:
- 1 pair of soft soled shoes
- 1 pair of jeans
- 2 evening shirts
- enough clean underwear for each day
- pair of evening socks
- extra pair of riding socks
- extra riding shirt
- extra pair of gloves
- toiletries packed in a zip-lock bag
- 1 pair of swimming trunks for the hot tub
- extra key for snowmobile
- TY cap

I only take a set of clothes to wear in the evening a two sets of clothes for riding. Any more than that and you are packing too much.

LOL. Can't go anywhere without your TY cap.

Im gonna have to get myself one of those.

Is this bag pretty stable on the back of the seat when properly fastened. Does it move around at all?

Yes, it is stable. I still routinely reach around and check that it is still there but I have never had a problem using this bag. It doesn't move around, even when you hit one of those massive bumps that bottoms out the suspension. I have used this bag on 2-3 bagger trips per season since 2004.

I ask this because I just converted to Yamahas in March of this year. I previously had the Arctic Cat sleds and their OEM stuff and had one rear bag that Arctic Cat said was not going to come apart and fall off the back. Sure enough after doing some ditch banging along a 10 mile stretch. Poof. gone. Luckily I had my Manitoba Trail pass in there with my phone number and address and a passerby on the highway found it and called me. I was't luckly two weeks later. AC sucks.

No worries and I certainly understand why you asked. I was a bit worried about the rivets coming out that hold the straps down, especially in the nasty washboard trail sections but I never had a problem.

Last year I ran a two 10-mile stretches of trail that were complete washboards of 1-2 foot moguls. I rode them at 50 mph, skipping across the tops and the bag never moved. ;)!
