I put a heavy duty MB drive shaft in my sled about 9000 miles ago. It's got a lot of hard miles on it. I was wondering if anybody has ever broken a heavy duty shaft after a lot of miles? I'm going to start working on the sled in the next month or so, and I am trying to think of what needs replacing.
The sled has about 11000 miles on it, I was thinking about changing the jackshaft too.
Any thoughts?

I am wondering the same about the durability of the MB drive shaft.
I wouldn't worry about the jackshaft, I have never heard of one breaking.

I got 9,000 out of the stock shaft most got 6 to 9,000 from their stock shaft. I now have 9,000 on the replacement Yamaha shaft. I would thing the Micro Belmont would last forever.

mdkuni I think replaced a MB shaft but he puts on like 20,000 miles a year. for the avg rider getting 2-5k a year it will last 5-7 years. Its been on my supercharged apex for 3 years now.
