Anybody running aftermarket bars and controls???

Hi,
I am looking for some options in the bar/control department, on my previous sled (ski doo) I took off the stock controls and went to a billet throttle block and 440 race kill switch and light switch - IMO it really cleaned up the look. Has anybody done this, any recommendations or things to watch out for?? Thanks

You may have to wire up the headlight and warmers switch some other way. Other than those two things, doesn't seem to be an issue.

You will have to wire the two things above in a way that the sled doesn't throw error codes?

Thanks 1CS, that is what I am looking for before I start cutting wires, LOL. Any ideas on the wiring, it looks like I am going to run a CR Lightbar with PIAA headlights. I can wire the hand warmers and lights, I just want to prevent any electrical issues I might cause.

Sorry, I didn't see this until now.

Not sure how to wire this up. I would look around in the mtn area and maybe PM someone that has done the PIAA mod and ask them what they did.

What comes to mind, however is to install quick connects and wire up the piaa's through the stock harness. I imagine, you wouldn't have brights, unless these piaa's are both dims and brights? I would think you wouldn't have an error codes this way. As long as the sleds "thinks" there is a light there, you're good to go!
