Anybody try this to quiet the clutch down?

Installed on my Viper and helps. Not a cure but still worth it.

For 29.99 I think I will give it a try. Should tighten the side play in the flyweights and rollers . If it quiets it down some I will be happy.

Has anyone tried a dynamic balance tool on these clutches? I know the clutches are balanced but so are aircraft propellers before installation. After we install a prop we put a balancing tool on with the engine running. Makes a huge difference sometimes.

Used them and I couldn’t tell a difference. Sounded the same on my sled.

I've tried nylon, copper and neoprene washers and O-rings. Maybe if it was wrapped in "Sound Down" bulkhead material it would help. lol

Any more input of this kit on Sidewinders? Does it last? Strange that some says it makes a big difference some say not much...

Looks like a really nice piece! Just though of going a cheaper route first. I understand the noise is twofolds. The spline, which your kit fixes and the clutch which perhaps SB kit fixes.

The cheaper route doesn't last. Seems like it at first but the rattle quickly returns. The hurricane solution does last .
