Just like the title says is anybody thinking that the new XTX will be sprung soft or just have a way to soft rear suspension for any sort of aggressive rough trail riding or any sort of jumping. My thought for this comes because it seems that Yamaha seems to to have there extended track models, more specifically the phazer MTX and nytro MTX, way to soft in the rear. Anybody happen to know if the torsion springs are the same as the RTX or the standard Nytro?

Its faster than a 121 Nytro because the track makes a slower bend as it goes around. Magazine reported a couple MPH MORE top end than a 121. just what I read..........

I just read an article in a sept issue of one of the sled magazines. They said the xtx had the best overall suspension in the nytro lineup. It had good small bump compliance and good bottoming resistance.....good all-around. But obviously its not going to be an rtx or rtx se.

Read the Ty review. We had 4 guy's with MrSled being the lightest and me CLOSE to the heaviest. We all rode the same exact sled, no fiddling with adjustments. I jumped a .... well, let's just say I was able to test the FULL travel of the machine LOL. No issues at all. MrSled is 30-40 lbs. lighter than me, and he thought the sled was a little stiff. None of us has ridden a TRUE production sled. They were all prototypes, at near production specs. Nice to speculate, but I think until someone actually rides an 09, none uf us will noe EXACTLY what we'll be riding.

My jumping on the sled gauge says it is pretty firm. Feels capable of attacking large moguls. I wish I could adjust rebound and make it little more lively...feels pretty damp. Actual seat time will tell the real deal.
