Guys-Did they make an all blue SW in 17 or 18 and what model would it be? I have the 17 LTX SE with white panels and I want to switch to blue. I also need the cover that goes over the gas cap area and along the front of the seat. Going to get rid of the white , too hard to keep it clean. I may have to call a dealer but figured I would ask here if anyone bought a blue one and if the model would work for mine. Thanks!

The part around the gas cap is called a console. I am trying to get the part numbers for the side panels. Yamaha calls the blue parts purple /dark blue. Order from the LTX-LE as they are the correct color.Guys-Did they make an all blue SW in 17 or 18 and what model would it be? I have the 17 LTX SE with white panels and I want to switch to blue. dosent matter - 17 and 18 LE r same - graphics r different - cyclepartsnation.com - complete removable right side with no graphics in "shroud" area
Shell Side Panel Assy 2 UR FOR DPBSE - 8KC-K8140-20-00--- u also need upper plastic piece that bolts to main unit
Shroud 2 UR FOR DPBSE - 8KC-K7112-00-00 - u also need the 2 screws that attach it --- look it up - u can buy the shell which is the complete assembly minus graphics or the comp. which is complete assy with graphics - can also buy emblems seperate under "emblem" your color code is dpbse - that means blue - go to yamaha website to review colors of years - lower plastic is 57 and 74 - u also need the exhaust gasket, metal ring and rivets for right side - the plastic u need for around tank is in the "instrument panel" area - keep in mind u may need the one without electric seat cut out for switch from the btx or some other model without electric seat - i doo this crap all the time to change colors - since ben does all the hard work... cat panels are much better fit for removing side panel all the time...u can switch them as a set but cant mix em...

Thanks Waldo- I have the SE model and the upper piece is already blue. I want to buy just the side panel in blue with the emblems on and the insulation installed on the inside already. If I do both shell sides and the console I can pretty much get rid of the hard to keep clean white!dosent matter - 17 and 18 LE r same - graphics r different - cyclepartsnation.com - complete removable right side with no graphics in "shroud" area

ok - the part for the side removable panels with graphics is called the side panel Comp. - check yamaha site to verify graphics u want - let me know if u have questions --- wana sell the old ones? u can also buy the graphics seperate and save some coins if u can install them yourself, the prices are sometimes alot cheaper doing it this way - buy the shell - clean plastic with soap and water - peel and stick graphics - easy -

The 18 LTX LE's have more blue parts on them. Every piece is blue. My 17 has a black nose and black on the console where the gauge is mounted. Not sure if you were looking for those parts as well, but I figured I'd mention it.
I did that to a 16 btx looks great my stock panels where white.

Here's a few pics of my '18 SideWinder LTX-LE in Yamaha's "Racing Blue" colors. As far as I know this model has the most blue on it than any other blue SW model available.
The Yamaha model code on this model is 2018 SIDEWINDER L TX LE SW1NLLJL
