i want to buy a clutch kit for my 06 660 with 26 mudziollas,i see fix is a sponsor on this sight and would like to help him out. But i want to make sure its not like alot of clutch kits that do nothing. I cant figure out how it works well for the big and stock tires. My big tires drop rpm hard. i would think it cant be done. was wondering if anyone has tried it? i do like to run both sets of rims and tires on different ocasions as i still have the stockers. So it would sound like the right kt for me. Dalton kits say you cant run with stockers.
sxrsist,
Did ya ever get any other replies or info on the Fix PS clutch you were ask'in about last month ??
I suppose not ... doesn't seem to be a lot of action on some of these threads .... but, being fairly new to TY, I'm just look'in thru some of the threads to see if I can learn anything ... so I saw this one & I have some good news for ya ..... but I can't guarantee you'll see the same results ...... now, having said that, I informed some other guys on another forum about me doing this & not one guy has been disappointed. Some did have to work with different roller weights, but I didn't.
Here's what I did ...... I bought a machined sheave for 2004 Rhino 660 & installed it on my 03 Grizzly 660.
I had a Dalton clutch kit installed prior to buying the sheave & I reinstalled those rollers (instead of the ones that came with the new sheave) ....... best damn mod I'ver ever done, period !
I better tell you however, you may lose some top end .... but the bottom end was what I was look'in for.
