I have the Yamaha skid plate on my Apex and the Skinz float plate on a phazer.
The Skinz plate is much better, made of better plastic, thicker, harder, but still flexible. I wish I had bought it for my Apex.
That said, I had a frustrating experience with Skinz, the holes did not line up correctly on the float plate, and it took them 4 months and several phone calls to get me a new one sent out.
The new one is perfect and a great product, but if this had happened during the snow season I would have been pissed.
