FWIW, Brad Story has BOTH a turbo M7, and an Apex on propane - he did not sell the TM7 and get the T Apex. He also has a turbo Phazer on the way.
Each sled has their strong points. Mid to upper 400 lbs for weight AND 240+ horsepower (that is reasonably reliable) is hard to ignore for the fun factor.
Is the TM7 a Turbo Apex (@15lbs +) beater? - NO. Is it a worthy sled that will be fun and beat 99.9% of other sleds out there? yep!

I agree as I said befor I belive they will work very well, for what they are.

Brad told me he ran 17lbs on the m7.If you use the addage of 10hp per lb of boost he is around 300+hp, but you can sill get more out of the yammies. all a boat load of fun.

its not 10hp per#of boost on an M7
The baseline is 130 or so HP.
so if the turbo is 100% efficient (which of course is not) the hp per # of boost is 8.8hp..
now lets assume an optimistic 85% efficiency which is more realistic
and you get 8.8x17x0.85=128 new ponies add that to the existing 130 and you get about 260hp.
