anyone installed a heated shield on an rx-1???

I had unhooked my reverse beeper because its anoying so I tried to hook into that but when I plugged in my helmet my sled beeped. so I ran the wire to the fuse for the headlight since that comes on when the sled starts and it blew the fuse in about 15 minutes.

Find the beeper itself and disconnect it, wire in the shield there, then short the two wires at the switch.
