New to the forum. Just bought a 09 Nytro RTX se and looking at modding it out. Looked at Ulmers trail performance packages and curious if anyone has the #6 package on there sled. Will this package help me keep up top end w/the apex's a little better or any other suggestions on what mods to do? Thanks. Also I ride a lot of hard packed trails and do some off trail riding as well. Thanks

I cant see it being more than 2-3 hp but if you cant put that hp to the track horse power is no good, and i know allen and the boys know what is goin on.....

That kit is pretty much the full monty...you should be getting an extra 8-10 hp..depending on what your Nytro makes stock you should be pushing 148hp all said n done.

Package #6 is going to add 12-13 hp. How heavy of a rider are you and are you going to run the stock track?

I'm prob 180 w/my gear on. It has a oft 136 extension on the sled. It has a 1.50 camoplast ripsaw track on it.

The rtx is basically a 100 mph sled when stock, maybe 105 on the speedo, thats all I could get at least, but i'm 240 lbs.
You kinda went the wrong direction with the track if you are looking for top speed. taller lug/ longer will probably slow you down a little...but it will be a lot more fun in the powder/off trail.

Yea, it had the track on it when I bought the sled. I don't neccessarily need to do crazy top speed just dont want to be at the back of the pack due to my buddies having some apex's and 1000 ski doos. My brother has a 1000 ski doo and ive got to at least beat him to a 100 haha. Thanks for the input guys!!

My good riding buddy has a Attak (136" apex) and with the stock nytro I could usually take him out of the hole and to probably 80 mph at least.
If you get that kit you are looking at, I would imagine you would beat a stock apex to 100.
But then again, you are not running studs. If you want to win races, switch the track for a 1.25 and stud it. 144 studs down the middle is what I would recommend.
...Or spend a couple more grand, and put a 180hp turbo kit on it, and be done with it.

Thanks for the input guys!! Hopefully the sled will be here next week!! Any more input is appreciated. I'll post pics when i get the sled.....
