Anyone remove the anti-bottoming from rear skid

I had mine on soft before I took them out I als have nytro rear and center dprings and a rear ohlin shock so mine might act differently than yours.

So you prefer them removed altogether even with the spring and shock setup that you have?

yes.but other's might not like I would say try different adjustments and see what suites you best.

If you're talking about the anti-bottoming stoppers on each of the slide rails.....yes I removed mine altogether. This eliminated the "kick-back" I was recieving on bumpy trails.

The "kickback" on the ProActive skid would not be there on the '05's if they had put something better than a $5 rear track shock on.

What do you know.....we may actually agree on something......Hmmm, maybe I'm coming down with the flu.

Put on any gas shock, have it valved right, and your kickback is GONE. BUT, I'm not a member of the Yamaha Internet Promotion Team, so don't believe me!
