Just wondering if anyone has tried out any of the aftermarket ball joints or tie rod ends that are out there. My tie rods are getting lose and ball joints have a little play in them and just wondering what everyone has found. Is the newer style ball joint from yamaha any better then the one on my 09?

I've actually read through that thread and that's what got me wondering how the Canadian ones were holding up as I didn't see any new updates. Or if anyone else had tried them yet. Also didn't see any mention of the 2010 or 2011 which ever it is updated lower ball joint with the ball and collars similar to what had been tried with the copper ones.
Thanks for the reply.

Geez priced out a complete set of tie rod ends and lower ball joints from yamaha today. Getting taken pretty bad if I were to order here I think. 427.61 plus tax yet. Looks like I can get everything except the outer tie rod ends from I believe kimpex. Least I think that's whose the supplier for that canadian company. For 480 bucks I'd be better off investing in a whole new front end lol..
