Well the snow wasn't heavy, but the twisties were plentiful. Still see no need for the EPS, just me, others perhaps. Doubt that it can be had for $100, but would be nice if true. Me, I've bought my last $10k sled.

What is it you don't like about your rear suspension?
I am not real happy with mine either so I am thinking a revalve this coming spring may be in order?
Just seems to harsh to me but I may also have a pooched shock?

I agree it is somewhat harsh. I have everything on mine set to the softest positions (I weigh around 200 when fully outfitted) and it still does not absorb the bumps well. I do prefer this over that of my Apex which was always too soft. I took mine out finally and replaced with a ZX2, which worked great. It helped me in resale as well. Had sold the Mono earlier. I really find this the best out of the box sled I have ever owned.

The suspension is too firm in stutter bumps. It p@#$ me off to have to "revalve" the shocks on a $12,000 sled. I did a comparison under Head to Head with 2011 skidoo Gtx and 2010 artic Lxr

I agree.......a decent seat would help, these are just too stiff.
we have a 2011 apex se and 2 2010 vector ltx gt's and my wife and i love the power steering but we both prefer the vector's ride.......I am only 180lbs with gear and I can not get the se to ride good at any pressure setting.
Thinking of another vector.......maybe the '12 will have p.s. just not happy with the way this apex rides..

If re-valving is required, how do you or the shock folks know what to do?

I have asked that same question a couple of times but never did get an answer?iasledder said:If re-valving is required, how do you or the shock folks know what to do?
With that being said, I assume you tell the shock guru your weight, your riding style and what you don't like about your current shock?
Also, I am hoping with what ever shock guru I choose, he/they have worked on a few and know what most want and like already?
