i just installed the rear heat exchanger on my 121 apex and now ive decided i want to stretch it to a 136, would that require me to take the rear exchanger back off or do you guys think the track will clear it

Ahhh, yeah, your going to have to stretch the tunnel, a 128" will clear (supposed to) but not a 136", use an extension from Gade Trasher. Should be able to reuse your heat exchanger though.
the exchanger will be fine in stock location

I know what you mean. I stretched mine after installing the 121 rear exhanger, and it hangs down an extra 1/2 inch beond the tunnel. Now that the stretch is complete, I often look at it and wonder if there will be any clearance issues when the suspension bottoms.

do you notice the ride is that much better when you stretched it
I would put extensions on your protectors, out past the cast aluminum that supports the exhaust. I think it may tag it if you jump alot..IMO
This is what I did. I also put my exchanger on the backside of the aluminum casting to keep it away from the exhaust.
As for is it a better ride..YES!
