Rip all the body moldings off and suspension too. Un rivet it and unbolt it take it off and replace. Easy to get a feel for it once you see it.

I've had some bulkheads welded in the past, but then again my father has a welding shop. Ha. If you can find a good tig welder I can find out what alloy rod my father uses. I know he experimented with a few. If you can get it welded up it will save you alot of work!
