apex clutch spring on an attak

I ordered an used clutch that came off an apex. It has the pink sec spring. what effect will this have. on the Attak?

Use your stock attak secondary spring.
the pink will cause the secondary to overshift & drop rpm,s badly on holeshot.

I have a new secondary spring that I installed. I was thinking of being lazy and leave the apex spring in. Decided that lazy isn't productive and pulled the cluches apart cleaned and reinstalled. The new clutch was set in the 6 hole and the old one was set in the 3 hole. Is the 3 correct or should I put it in the 6 hole. If the 3 hole is wrong could this have been the cause of my belt wear problem

So the holes inside have numbers and the holes in the helix has numbers and they should be on 3 and 3. is that correct?
