I really wish yamaha would make an RTX with say a 136" paddle track or 144" paddle 16" wide, Also expand the Mnt. Apex to be available with a 151" or 156"x16 . What's your thoughts on the possibility of this some time in the future.................. something with better weight displacment than the Attack but not a dedicated Mnt. sled........ anyone else want this or am I the only one with this preference

I would also look at a model like that AB; I have been pondering my choices, so far down to Attak, Phazer Multipurpose or VK Pro...

You could put on wider skis and a larger paddle track but I would think at 136" it is too heavy for a crossover and I don't think you can stretch to 144"+ with the mono suspension without problems.

For a true crossover you need something with the specs of a Crossfire.

The Vector mnt. is an option,

BUT , I would want the bigger motor in it, the mono shock skid has been stretched but still isn't designed for it and will eventually cause problems i imagine.
Ideally the Apex RTX with a 144x16 track with angled rails would be awesome, and Yamaha get rid of about 50 lbs, exhaust/seat/a-arms/battery/ and a few other things it's not out of reach! This would make a nice crossover with balls!. Use an alteration of the new Challenger track that 07' do's have with the windows opened etc. , makes it about8 lbs or maybe more lighter. ANOTHER option would be to slide the mono shock skid back 4" and add 8" wheels to get a better approach angle and beable to run a 141 or 144" track I still think it needs to be 16" wide for a good off trail ride in the powder, to support the extra weight...... Just my .02

wonder why....can Mr. Sled answer that one ?

what is the logic behind this........ Yamaha not making a crossover when everyone else does ? Does anyone know ? And NO the 136" isn't sufficient for a crossover sled , if it was 16" wide it might be closer to it but with the weight the 15" wide track just isn't big enough to float the sled very effectively... in my opinion.

Power contact Viper 34 he will give you the details. I remember in 05 couple guys wanted to stretch to 136" and it came back not advised as the change in geometry in relation to the track just would not work, I know he advised Mighty not to go to 128"
