Here is a my stock drivers on my apex

I see there looks to be 4 drivers as compared this firecat which only has two drivers but still has all the cogs on the track the same as the apex

My question is if you replace your drivers with Doo Extroverts (or whatever), do you need 4 drivers or only two. Also I have been seeing that drivers are normally about 70$ or so, is this for a pair or are they generally sold seperately. Thanks for any help.

You'll need 2 of the extrovert drivers - they're each centered over the windows in the track. I couldn't tell for sure from the pic, but that track is fully clipped right?

There's another string running regarding which extroverts to run. One of the guys wrote in saying that the Doo extros are available again, using 504152503 as a part number. I checked, and sure enough, they price out with no mention of backorders.

Many believe these are exellent drivers. I think they're great after putting quite a few miles on mine. The price I saw was like 42.00 each. so they're ver inexpensive compare to the others.

You might want to see if you can actually get them for that price. If so, thinkin they're a good plan!

I have 'em on my sled. I run a loose track with no ratcheting. Nice to have if you boost the sled later. I put them on when I stretched the sled and put the big track on.

Where can i guy order these 'Doo extros at? I'm assuming these are 9 tooth and will fit the attak.

I have an '07 attak that likes to ratchet at take off sometimes....... I imagine extros would cure that issue and probably even allow me to further loosen my track a little more.

Have heard to so this you also have to either change tracks or modify your own so the extros will work.... Make more window holes in the track i believe?

What do you have to do? How is that done? Can a simpleton like me do it at home while eating popcorn? :jump: :letsnow:

Sorry for hijacking this old thread but inquiring minds want to know........

I BELIEVE that # is in the FAQ section at the top of the page. BUT, if you are going to install a ZX2 or an Expert, you won't need them.
My ratcheting is GONE since I installed the Expert! Just another little tease for ya! LOL!!

Here are the new 2010 on YAM'S this year...

I just wanted Viper Dave to know that I guess I'll now have to sell plasma to generate money now that he has tempted me so bad to buy an Expert X skid...... Trust me, I want one badly!!!!!!

I just need to figure out how to butter up the better half to let me drop the $2,500 or so those things cost!!!!!

Just ordered them through Babbits!! Thanks for the update!
