Apex dyno thread #2

No change to the avitar yet. Some people just can't handle my beauty and get jealous of me.

Going to do a little more dyno work, this time with some cam sprockets. I believe they are 1degree different. Probably get this done between now and saturday. Also going to try another exhaust variation. Then we're maybe done on the apex for a while. Of course I'lll try post what happens.
 

What about drilling 1" holes in the airbox lid or box itself then install those filter plugs? more air is good right? just be a matter of where you drill the holes(guessing farthest from exhaust would be better).
 
from my experience and testing so far, I wouldn't recommend just drilling holes. Not sure if you'll get anyone to tell you where to put the holes, as they have spent time and money developing and testing that and might not just give that out.
but from what I saw so far, the location, size and number of holes makes a difference.
 
I was only think that because I know it helps with quads while using the airbox cover. I'll have to see what a new airbox and lid go for before I start drilling. or will I :drink:
