Apex ER shock damping adjustment

I put an Apex ER skid in my SRX but didn't want to drill the hole for the adjuster in my tunnel so I figured if I ever needed to set the damping I'd just flip the sled on it's side and do it.Yeah I know it's not as convenient but I really don't want to put a hole in my tunnel.So my question is which way stiffens up the damping in the shock? Clockwise or counterclockwise? If it's like my Ohlins ski shocks then it should be clockwise to stiffen it but I'd like to make sure first.Thanks.

Stiff is clockwise I beleive. The adjustment on the shock is opposite of the RA knob

I have an 06 apex. and I threw all that tunnel adj crap away. Once you have it set there is no point.
