I am thinking of extending my GT, I ride in UP and in Canada. Has anyone tried a 144" and did you like it for trails. Or should I stick with a 136" and call it good.

144" minumum, 136" just too short to get it up on top!

Long track
I would go 144. Imo the 144 will balance the sled off, Help in traction in all conditions, ride better. I mentioned possibly stretching my 136 to 144 this past weekend. The down side is more rider effort in the tight stuff and lose of top speed.

Hey JVC, I think you found your answer. Call when you have info about your shock wire.

For those that have went to a 144 or 136 does the shock mounting have to be changed or do you bolt the shock in the same location as the 121. Lastly is a 1.5" rip saw track to deep for trail riding?

Ripsaw is too crappy for ANY riding.

Will a 1.5" ripsaw fit an Apex GT with the tunnel protectors still installed?

Has anyone run into problems using a 1.5" deeper lug track with the tunnel protectors still installed?

So is it ok to extend the Mono now. I thought that the geometry of the susp. wouldn't work with an extension over 128"? (excluding the 136)

Best to extend by replacing the skid.
