Just looking to see what setting everyone else runs.

i want my to corner on rails. Have a lot of inside ski lift and pushes hard. Notice it alot more when i added another 48 studs.

Right now i have 144 studs
8 carbides, triple points,
skis are shimmed. Stock skis
max on the transfer rod (i know i should be the other way)
13 mm sway bar on the way
limiter strap in the second hole (from the top, what is stock setting?)
All shock set to mid. 4 clicks on the preload.

Thanks

Pull the limiter 1 tighter than stock. Set transfer to middle or less. Make sure you have your rear spring set up right for your weight. Too much sag is bad and doesn't keep the front skis planted right. I also set my electric rear shock to max hard when I want it to corner its best. Experiment with the front shocks and springs. Some people also swear by different skis. Unfortunately these sleds will only handle fair at best on tight trails. They are Canada cruisers and need big open trails to show their stuff.

unfortunatly these sleds come with oldschool designed skiis and are sub par at best. switching to something like a pilot ski is a remarkable improvement... also agree with tightening the limiter strap one hole.

C&A Pro III made all the difference with a 8" carbide. Stock Skis are poo. 13MM bar made a big diff. I have the ulmer stage 3 as well. Went with the big boy spring and the Pioneer revalve. Limiter strap is on 2 A arm pre load is level. Installed the oilite bushings from Ulmer and the Olite steering blocks from kit. Just added a new cobra track. Just waiting for my Yamaheaters to show up. It's a close as I can get it to my old SRX for handling.

Ok guys here's my 2 cents worth. Have an 06 gt with most of the mods mentioned here. 13mm swaybar, 168 woodys studs, doo pilot skis with 8" of carbide in the middle. 5.5 kg rear spring. Bottom line is its not gonna rail like the older sleds until you drop the sled down closer to the ground. And that is just not possible with the stock springs. Added aftermarket front springs which lets me lower the front of the sled about 2" or more. Will probably go to an even stiffer rear spring 6.1 so I can back off the preload and still have good bump response. These newer sleds have great suspensions for bumps, but just plain sit too high for railability. When you have good bite, they just wonna tip in the corners cuz of the high center of gravity. Rode with a buddy last season who has an rtx with the fox floats. He could run away from me in the trails because he could let the air out of the floats to let his machine sit much lower to the ground. The lower center of gravity let the machine rail in the corners compared to mine. But his sled also pushed too. Depends on what you want and what your willing to give up. I'll take the railability!

My '06 has quite a few of the upgrades as well, but I have to ask what you weigh? I wouldn't add a heavier spring unless your weight requires it. Granted, I installed an XTX skid in mine, but i have the 13mm bar, Ulmer bushings, and Pioneer re-valved stock shocks. I still have the factory front springs, but I have turned them down until my arms are level to the ground. C&A Razors and Bergstrom 8" tripples, and it rides and corners like nothing I've ever ridden!
The only thing I had to do when lowering it that far was secure teh lover spring perch plate so it doesnt come loose when the shock extends. I wanted to have Pioneer add shims inside the shock to limit its droop travel, but that didn't get done. All I did was put a bit of epoxy (JB weld) on the spring plate.
