I know it's hard to explain it on a post but my 06 RTX won't idle. It idles fine for a few seconds, then sounds like a plug fouls out and then shuts off. Weird thing is, it always starts right back up and all except once seems to have all it's power it's supposed to have when you get on her. Any one have any sugections? I have the CR10EK plugs, could I have fouled one? I have about 500 miles on these new plugs. I also have Hauck's fuel chip with also about 500 miles on it. Never had issues like this before. HELP!!

I put new EK plugs in my sled this eason just because I thought I should but I noticed the new plugs have a very slight miss at just off an idle. Not bad enough that ill change them(ever so slight) but I did notice it.Ive put in brand new plugs and had a miss up a high rpms before(really makes it tough to get jetting dialed in),not common but it does happen.

I fouled one a couple of weeks ago as we were following too many slo - pokes and it was warm. I noticed three things: When I fouled one I lost the midrange snap, the exhaust tone was alot louder, and it did idle fine. Kinda sounded and performed like a Nytro. Took em out and put the stockers back in . Stock ones are in for a reason! I lost 10 lbs. recently I'll notice that before 2-3 HP!

if its has all its power when you start it back up then it is not a plug issue, unhook the ground wire for your hauck accelertor and i bet it idles fine, might need you accelerator reprogramed

I don't notice any backfire (only once when it was new). Yes it is the Hauck fuel accelerator. I also noticed a small hesitation right when you get on it. I may only have like 500 miles on this set of plugs and I thought they were kind of a pain to change. I will try and unhook that fuel accelerator. I called Hauck on it and he had me turn up a few settings. I don't know what they did. It did run fine right when it came back from getting the kit put on. Weird. I'm still thinking it's a plug. I'll check it out when I get it back. Blew the damn chain case seal out and now it grinds really loud.
Fun Fun!!
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help.
My money is on that it is not the plugs.
