Do a search, a lot of good info on overheating. The first thing you will be told is check your antifreeze. It usually comes from the factory full strength, so reduce it with distilled water. If that checks out, then scratchers etc. should help but if you don't mind dropping a few bucks, that rear heat exchanger keeps mine running from between 165 and 180F. You should add where you are from, so I know whether to talk in metric or standard. Heat exchanger is a fairly easy install, keeps ice out of tunnel also. Ulmer Racing has a popular digital temp guage, check their site, comes with full instructions. A little more work to install, but nice to have piece of mind knowing exactly what's going on with the engine.
