Do you mean updated for all Apex's or for 2011/2012? I haven't bothered to check a newer manual, but the "oil change kits" that Yamaha sells for the 06-10 Apex comes with semi-synthetic 0W-30. Based on that, I figure any semi or full synthetic blend by a reputable company would be fine, but I'm no oil expert.
