Wondering if the 06'-07' Apex Mnt front suspension components will bolt up to an 06' Attak. If so how much narrower and will my Fox Floats be OK to reuse too? Lastly will I need a shorter stabilizer as well? I'm hoping to make this sled more agile in the backwoods and easier to change directions with.
If this is possible any of you Mnt guys and Gals recently did an upgrade to your front end and have take-off parts for sale?
Thanks...

A-arms
Yes they will. The Apex ones will give you a 39" ski stance instead. Your shocks will also work, the only thing is your tie rod linkage will be too long. You will need the Apex ones. I have a set of Nextech Carbon Kevlars for sale that come with all parts needed including linkage, aluminum pins, etc. Brand new never used. will save over 13 lbs. of unsprung suspension weight off the A-arms alone. NEXTECH also has a satisfaction guarantee. You can check it out on their website.I bought them for wife's RX-1 but sold it instead and bought her a Phazer MTN Lite before I installed them. NEXTECH wants $1500.00 us and I'll take $1150.00 us and can ship anywhere.

To get the correct spindle geometry you need to change out the spindle housing and spindle as well. The Apex Mtn uses the taller RX-1 style spindle for increased ground clearance where the Apex/Attak 121 & 136 models use the shorter spindle assembly that was first introduced on the Vector.

srxspec: there are two different part numbers for the vector/short track apex spindles:
- 8ES-23501-00-00 STEERING KNUCKLE ASSY (LEFT) $176.45 (vector), and
- 8ES-23501-10-00 STEERING KNUCKLE ASSY (LEFT) $193.95 (nytro & apex)
which one is the right one? Are they the same??

It's the Apex, Nytro spindles you will need. Also the Carbon Kevlars run at a 39" stance instead of 42" like you have now. The 39" ski stance is stock on the Apex Mountain. The Nextech arms retain these dimensions. I also have the sway bar for 39". It comes from my Apex. I removed it as soon as I got home with the Apex, anfd never used it since. Also changed A-arms to a set of nextech,s at the same time.

I had 39". Now I have 45". srxspec wrote: "Apex/Attak 121 & 136 models use the shorter spindle assembly that was first introduced on the Vector." That is why I asked this question. Now my spindle geometry sucks...
It must come out more by the skiis.

The difference in part # is the color.
