I have a wrecked apex sled with 300 miles on it . And the motor in my
rx1 needs a rebuild . My question is should I bolt the apex motor in and
hook up the carbs or put the wiring harness in and make it fuel injection
this is on a full race set up running Q16 fuel and 22 pounds of boost.

thanks

Don't quote me on this but I think the heads are different so the carbs may not bolt up. I know the cams are different for sure. Much as I like the simplicity and easy tunability of the carbs I'd be inclined to try the fuel injection, just not sure who's mapping you'd use a 22 lbs..

What guys are saying, move everything over to the RX-1, it has been done before and it works.

I have done this to my rx1... apex engine and efi!

I like how efi make life easier on the montain riding!

I did not because I did not want to bother with that in the winter season (I did the swap in february) but I will soon re-install the blower on this sled...

This sled was extreme fun with efi engine (I did go from 153 to 162" track at same time) so can't wait to see how it goes with the bigger hp....

My guess... this sled will be more fun to me than my turbo apex.... and the reason is because the rx1 body with the mods I did to its suspension and rider foward make it so much easier and fun to run...

right on mulot you should definatly share some pics of it when you get a chance
There was no problem with installing your old sc on the new engine?
