I'm starting to here a ticking noise under hood, Trottle bodies are starting to sound like carbs. I know it's not my imagination because the exhaust is pulsing the same time.

How many miles do you have on her?
Does it do it more when you first start it? Try plugging the exhaust pipes for a second and listen for any leaks

2700 miles, I noticed it after a 75 mile ride yesteday, I hav'nt tried it when it was cold after I heard it the first time

Just got done checking the donut gaskets and the #2 and 3 where just starting to leak on the bottom sides. The two y pipe hold down bolts are a mother ! Had to drill the heads off and EZ out the bolts.

I just had the strangest thing occur to me last week. My sled has 2100 miles on it, and I was getting a light ticking on startup which would be indicative of a loose valve. But the sled sounded louder at speeds under 45 or so also. Then I got under the bulkhead area with the sled idling, and it sounded like an exhaust leak. I stripped the sled apart and took apart the y pipes, aft pipe, but left the flex pipes on the head. The donuts looked fine. Aft pipe gaskets were fine. Put everything back together, torqued down the pipes real good, fired it up, and voila, quiet pipes and no ticking, go figure? There are so many joints on the pipe for problems to occur. As nice as this sled is, it still requires a certain amount of pre season inspection/maintainence.
