I broke both W arms in my SXR and SRX and I rarely, if ever jumped them. Really hard to say if you will have any issues or not. Just like some people on here have never had idler wheel problems.. I surely have. 1st set didn't last the 1st trip on the Apex. The motor is supposed to be the greatest thing since vagina's, but mine blew up on my 2nd trip out in the RX-1 and I was putting along only doing 40.. POW!

I suggest you buy a '06 Apex RTX if you can find one that fits your budget. The suspension are way better than on the RX-1s any year.

thanks every1 for the help. whats the difference in the apex GT and the RTX? also what does revalving the shocks do? is it something that is needed and how much?

GT is for smooth flat trails RTX for rough trails. GT has clicker shocks up front and electric Ohlin in the rear skid, RTX has fox float air adjustable shocks in the front and dial adjustable shock in the rear skid

wouldn't the electronic rear shock be better? and also i heard the air shocks are really aggressive and cause pulling a lot?
no & no - I had 2 GT's and they are valved for smooth trails. In the UP after a hard day the trails get rutted and the sleds beat me to death. The RTX is far more tunable and as for the shocks they have little to do with the darting issues, thats the skis and you can shim and ad dual runners or replace but that is for later discussion.

Yes especially if you are riding up north tioga - potter from what I remember the trails being like. & the sled can handle just field riding & ditch banging
5800 a bit high but with only 400 miles it has not even hit breakin miles yet. Offer $5500 great deal thats like buying a leftover for 1/2 price
