If you are overheating due to marginal snow, never just turn the sled off allow the sled to idle and circulate for a minute. Turning the sled off right away will increase fluid temps.

sled quit on me. we were waiting for a couple of guys.
Noob I would install a temp gauge then you at least know when to expect it. Have you checked your fluid to see if it is at -40 and have you tried the water wetter product.
