I have a 2006 Apex we just finished puting a 2860 Garret turbo kit on and are setting it up for radar runs/drag racing only. I have put a Wahl Bros. #02-160A suspension, 121" speed track, and 192 chisels. The front end still seems to be sitting to high even when straped down which leads to the track spinning all the way down the track. We ran 111 on radar in 1000' yesturday with the track still spinning at the 900' mark. We think with the proper traction this sled should run in the 125 MPH range on radar. Does anybody have a front shock setup/length that works well with this rear suspension?

Put a pair of srx shock along with your stock apex springs on the front end. The srx shocks have threads that go higher than the apex and will allow you to slam the front end.
