I'm planning on keeping both. It'll be interesting swapping back and forth.
I've mentioned this before. I have never been interested in anything but the short track sleds all my life.
The '15 XTX with the tipped up rails seems to be an awesome compromise.
At least that's what this forum washed into my brain.

As Kevin from Port Yamaha explained to me, it's not necessarily the length of the skid as it's the pitch of the track. For example, there would be more lugs on the ground with a 2.86 pitch track versus a 2.52 pitch track. That was something I considered when snow checking the Apex X-TX when coming off an L-TX. With the different pitch sizes, the extra length may not necessarily mean there's more lugs on the ground and hence not be as nimble.
