Just got my shocks back from Carver after revalve. I noticed wear on the top of the rear shock from the track hitting it. Somewhat concerning now that I want to stud the track, I assume can't stud the very center of the track if I expect the shock mount to last? Does everyone agree here about this?

i think its ulmer that makes a gaurd or rub kit to prevent this on shorty tracks. somthing about the angle off it.

Re: Apex RTX rear shock mount wear from track, stud question
Highly unlikely your revalve has anything to do with this, unless Carver changed the height of your shock and mounting hole somewhere?
More than likely it has always been there and you never noticed it or you have changed the track tension to the looser side?
This is what your after, they work well.

Good info, but I don't think that kit works on a RTX, it's not a monoshock rear suspension. I will call and ask Ulmer Racing.

Alan at Ulmer Racing said the track rub eliminator works on the RTX suspension as well, thanks.
