what are u guys seeing for top speed and rpms. I'm only seeing 104 on speedo and rpms staying around 10200. only have 175 miles on it does it gain rpms as it breaks in? stock clutching for now have drag n flies in the box also thinking of calling ulmer and selling the dnf's or putting them in something else

You are in the "break in" period. It will get better.

Yes,your rpms will climb as you break it in,hold it open for a few seconds to a time,each timea little longer,just make sure there is plenty of snow for lube,it does not want to get hot under break in. Mine now has 577 miles on a new 2015 xtx and it now runs 105 gps on snow packed trail,and rpms are right at 10,500 thru 10,600 so it will losen up more and rev to 10,900 to 11,000 when completely broke in,i can tell you this,she pulls like a mule all the way to the C note,and it is real close to gps,the slower you run,the closer it is,for 105 gps it sid 109 steady,and i have a set of DFW ready to go in,but for now i will wait,as it is way to much fun right now,and i still have engine breaking,and great milage 13-to 16 13 was breaking trail thry 2 feet of powder.

I bought it as a demo so I am sure it was broken in hard.
Now seeing 10,700 at 1500 miles. Not radared recently.

Not really relevent to this thread but interesting to know.

2011 Apex XTX with MCX 290 Turbo running 12 PSI Boost at the time on a 14" Hacksaw track.
137.6 MPH at 1500' on snow track on Speedo. Estimate 133 ish real mph. More left in the sled but not in me !!!

Same day on 10 psi boost, Radared 103 mph in 660' , & GPS'd 128 mph in 1/4 mile ish, both on a snow

Sled will Run 15.5 psi of boost safely, but it is crazy on the trail with that much power.

The Stock SE seems a little slow for some reason after I get off my Turbo. LOL
