2nd ride out this year on my 2010 apex LTX GT had a code 46, pulled over and checked sled out with no visible issue. started right up and she ran for a few miles and than went dead and would not crank, dash out etc. opened hood checked all connections I could get to with no loose connections. I was in the middle of the Adirondack park trail system but had a phone signal so googled the fault code and found it was power failure due to stator or volt regulator. Got towed back to truck and came home. 1st time the old girl was on the rope since I owned it in 2011. ( 22,000 miles). Tore the sled apart and found incorrect voltage coming out of the stator so it was the issue. I had a used stator I had purchased back when I had a pick up coil problem years ago and at that time just replaced the coil. swapped the stator out but my concern is the gasket. I reused the old one the best I could and added some high temp gasket silicon to hold it in place and help seal the cover. Is their much oil pressure in that end of the motor or does it just get low pressure and some lubrication? I have ordered a new gasket and will replace next year with my oil change. I started the sled and checked for leaks and didn't see any?? I will continue to monitor my oil level as I ride. Advice please as I don't know the internals of the motor. Thanks And happy new year to all

you should be fine. I have glued them back together in a punch with Yama-bond and held up for long time. You should not have that much pressure if the case is vented normally without restriction.2nd ride out this year on my 2010 apex LTX GT had a code 46, pulled over and checked sled out with no visible issue. started right up and she ran for a few miles and than went dead and would not crank, dash out etc. opened hood checked all connections I could get to with no loose connections.
