All three phases should output the same voltage. Measure the resistances between the white wires (3 combinations). 15.3 volts is to high for a regulated output. Somethings not right.

Thanks Guys ; changed out stator = it was burnt around the wire connections ! Now I've got a code 12 crank position sensor . I changed complete unit with new sensor & rectifier/regulator ! What could the problem be ? After a lot of checking & testing I found that the NEW crank shaft sensor was 2 mm too far away from the stator ! Put the old one back in & it fired right up ! BEWARE of the aftermarket parts = they don't seem to be built to exacting standards !

Yes = after market . Will try switching wires .aftermarket stator? some times the wires are in the wrong place for the pick-up coil.

Switched wires = code gone but still no fire !Yes = after market . Will try switching wires .

might need to clean and dry theplugs now as they might be full of gas from the failed starts. oil does not smell like gas?

Plugs are dry = no gas smell ; no spark . Switched wires back & forth on crank sensor = no spark & code 12 now showing ?might need to clean and dry theplugs now as they might be full of gas from the failed starts. oil does not smell like gas?

better take an ohm meter to it and check if it is in spec.might have gotten a bad one.

I've got 200 ohms on new one & 197 on old one .

so it should be working. you are hearing the fuel pump run before you try and start it?
