Phazer 2007 not charging (error 46) even with new battery + regulator

All three phases should output the same voltage. Measure the resistances between the white wires (3 combinations). 15.3 volts is to high for a regulated output. Somethings not right.

Thanks Guys ; changed out stator = it was burnt around the wire connections ! Now I've got a code 12 crank position sensor . I changed complete unit with new sensor & rectifier/regulator ! What could the problem be ? After a lot of checking & testing I found that the NEW crank shaft sensor was 2 mm too far away from the stator ! Put the old one back in & it fired right up ! BEWARE of the aftermarket parts = they don't seem to be built to exacting standards !

Have you turned the engine over yet?

aftermarket stator? some times the wires are in the wrong place for the pick-up coil.

might need to clean and dry theplugs now as they might be full of gas from the failed starts. oil does not smell like gas?

Plugs are dry = no gas smell ; no spark . Switched wires back & forth on crank sensor = no spark & code 12 now showing ?

better take an ohm meter to it and check if it is in spec.might have gotten a bad one.

so it should be working. you are hearing the fuel pump run before you try and start it?
