Bender Apex Turbo..........All i have to say is Outstanding' this sled rocks with the bender turbo' Havent had any problems ' Bender Racing did a great job'

What are they recommending for boost ? This is the first one I've heard of yet .

I ran on 5 boost' great for the trail' not to many sleds can run with it' will go to high boost this weekend' aroung 10 .....

I know you can't fit a muffler with that system, is it loud?

NO...its got a real nice sound' not loud at all'

grassracer2001: Does it have exhaust coming out the left side as you set on the sled like the rx-1 turbos?

The last time I talked to Mike @ Benders in December, I got the impression the exhaust was going to wrap behind the turbo and come out both pipes like a stock sled. He stated they were trying to get some real world testing on it at that time. Thanks

Mike sounded like they were going to make a kit to fit the RX-1.

grassracer2001: Hows the turbo running? Are you having any problems with too much heat under the seat because of the exhaust set up.

I'm planning on upgrading to the quieter exhaust at the end of this season. Thanks

Hey bigdog....no prob-- with mine geting hot' we cut out the side of the cover that goes over the turbo to get more air' i did here of some geting hot' but that is the fix' just get more air to it' i put on about 70 miles testing at the air strip were i live' have about 700 miles on the sled no prob's...Bender does a great job' well im heading out riding tonight'

I am running my bender turbo apex mountain at 12 lbs of boost with low compression pistons and 50/50 fuel to be safe. I am very happy but I only have about 150 miles on so far.

I ride my apex mountain with the bender turbo since february here too!

13# of boost need some more... neva get enough!



BTW Blew the head gasket once doin some tests with oxygenated racing fuel.... was a bad idea!!! Still its real fun testing this thing!
