I know for a fact my water racer friend has a new Apex GT and his brother owns a new REV 800 TEK. He is very honest and he says his GT flat out walks on his brothers REV. They ride every single weekend around MT. Vahalla in Wisconsin where they own a cabin. I know both sleds are clutched on the track dyno from their performance shop.
stock vs. stock
i just got back from the u.p. and i have a 06 gt and my buddy has a 06 800 doo tec , he had 11 miles on his and i had zero , so we didnt touch them off till the second day we we both had over 300 miles , stock vs. stock , im 280 and he goes 160, we raced about four times with the same results all four times , apex gt out front from start to finish .....

Did the Z have a 1.25" track on it?
it is not a mach and yes it has a 1.25 on it , soon to be a 1.5 ..I know i got better hole shot in the slop because of my weight , but at a 160 lbs , i was for sure he was going to go by me , but it just didnt happen , we will see what happens nxt time out , hopefully we get some good snow , but either way even if he does end up beating me , i could not be happier with the apex or just the 4 stroke motor , no oil in the mornings and my wife thinks the no 2 stroke smoke thing is a bonus , this sled my even get me laid alittle more often ..

Top speed run...
Last saturday I raced new Z´s, renegade´s, RX-1´s (Apex) on a 900m straight line top speed test with my (all stock) Vmax4 800 MMax.
RX was the fastest, I was tied second with one 1000 Renegade and one F7. Mach Z´s were slower and 800 Doo´s too. Track surface was almost bare ice, only snow dust here and there. NO STUDS.
RX run 171+ kmh, I did 168,22 kmh, twice. So, from what I saw, 800 P-Tek runs good, but Apex should take it. It´s close though.
