Did a 114 mile ride Friday on my Apex and my buddy was on his Vector. He filled up his sled when we got back and it only took 6.2 gallons of gas. That is almost 18mpg!!??? WOW! I haven't filled my Apex yet, but I only have 1 bar left on the fuel guage. I'm thinking it will take 8 gallons at the least, which would be around 14mpg. Not bad, but not as good as that Vecotor.
We both have very similar riding styles.
Anyone else ever heard of Vectors getting this kind of mileage ?

Ya I get 13-14 with my Apex and my friend gets 18-20 on his vector. He doesn't ride as hard as I do. I have heard that if you run mid grade in the vector it gets even better milage, don't know if I believe that, but that's what I have heard from a few vector owners.

I was riding with two Vectors and they both were getting 18-20mpg. I was riding a Apex Er and getting around 12mpg. I have a very hard time staying out of the throttle.
I rode one of the Vecters and thought it felt heavier than my Apex? I sure did miss the punch of the Apex. After about five miles I gave it back told him nice sled and climbed back aboard the best sled I have ever owned to date.

our vector seems to get 18-20+ depending on how its ridden.... cant speak for an apex until next year....

I've heard of the 120hp sleds getting fuel mileage in the 18-20 range, but I'm not complaining with my Apex, getting around 15-16.5 most of the time trail riding. Lowest has been around the 11 mpg range.

On a 120 mile loop my apexgt took 7.9 gallons for a little over 15mpg. My wifes vectorgt took exactly 6 gallons for 20mpg.This was averaging between 50 and 70mph.

I got 14.5 MPG on my apex in eagle river wisconson... We rode 120 miles.. but i filled up at 80 miles and used 5.5 gallons..
the night before that we did a bunch of drag racing on the lake and i only got 12.7mpg..

my gt gets terrible mileage - my buddy with a vector got a consistant 40% better all day. I actually had 55 miles on a full tank when the light came on.

Did 110 miles on Saturday with my Attak. Started with a full tank, 10 gallons. I was pressing the throttle hard on couple lakes we crossed and some of the trails was real beat up. So alot of slow riding. Getting on getting off the throttle. I think it can do much better than 11mpg. It is hard to resist the power rush. The Rage is alot better on the fuel.
