Fuel mileage Apex VS RX-1, and Vector

When you guys figure out the poor mpg please do tell. I avg about 11 mpg. I ran out bone dry at 110 miles a few weeks ago. Luckily there was a two stroke with a bigger tank with gas still in it, with me. For the record I have a slight stumble when I stab the throttle at low rpms, and it seems real rich at idle. Other than this, it runs perfect.

I'm of the opinion that the idle mixture is rich, however the accel circuit aka on carb; accel pump, is lean. It runs good so I'm not sure if I want dealer to waste my time messing with it. :exc:

your dealer cant do squat, except richen up the WHOLE thing,,and that's if they know how too...hehe..

well, if anybody hears how to lean-R-down please post it. I still think she's running a bit fat. Lotsa carbon on the exhaust. 10%-15% increase is all I'm looking for.

ttt. We need more info on tuning of this efi system. A power commander with different downloads would be nice. Those units also have a manual adjustment, richer or leaner, of low speed mid speed and high speed circuits.

I upped my fuel, and never noticed a difference. People shouldn't be upping or subtracting fuel unless they know what they are doing, by having a dyno to tune with......
