We were out riding last week and stopped for awhile, when I turned the key nothing happened, no lights, no power nothing. We took the front cover off and one guy wiggled some wires up front while I wiggled the throttle and power was restored. Haven't had any problems since, any ideas? Could it be a short or the throttle shut off? It's a 2012 XTX with 450 miles on it.

How cold was it outside? All I can think of is a frozen fuel relay I've heard of guys haveing problems even after machine has run for a while the heat of the engine was not enough to keep it from freezing. Left side panel there are relays it is the middle one if it happens again pull it out warm it up by blowing on it or sticking it in your jacket or purchase a cold weather relay with red top for 20 bucks.
