2011 Apex
Hello all,
I've got a 2011 apex with 10,000 miles on it. Never had a problem with it until 2 weeks ago. Rode about 50 miles and stopped for roughly 20 minutes. I got back on the machine and it started right up like Normal. It idled for about 5 minutes while I waited for my the rest of the group to get their helmets buckled. They were taking longer than expected so I shut the machine off. another few minutes go by and I went to start the machine and had no power to the dash at all. However, the starter would crank and the sled was turning over. I also did not hear the fuel pump start or the relay click for that matter. after a few hours of fumbling around checking connections, I worked my way up front near the power steering box. I assume the black box located between the battery and the power steering is the CDI box? Either way, I grabbed a hold of that wiring harness and gave it a little shake and suddenly all of the relays began clicking on and off. I did not notice any corrosion on those connections. Finally I had "normal" power and the sled started like normal. Rode another 50 or so miles with not a single issue. Fast forward 2 weeks and the sled will not idle. The dash has power and the sled will start. It idles like normal for about 15 seconds and then begins to sputter once or twice and will ultimately shut off all together as if the kill switch was hit. If I try to start it back up it just spits and sputters. if I wait a minute or two it'll start back up and then shut off again. Im out of ideas. I've seen other threads with somewhat similar issues and someone mentioned unhooking the speedo sensor. I gave that a shot and the same results. I should also mention the machine has been throwing an oil code, I have checked the level and it is fine. There are no other codes being displayed.

Here is what I've done so far.
-Plugs/Coils new at the beginning of last year and have 1000 miles on them
-Checked obvious connections (on the side of the trail its possible I missed something)
-New track and speedo bearing beginning of this season

sounding like you have a bad pin down on the connection in the nose you wiggled. most likely corrosion or it is coming out of the connector. seen this happen on other sleds.
