So what's the consensus...is the slingshot skid in the xtx better than the ck skid when comparing ride, transfer, and durability?

Is the tipped rail 144 faster than the 146?

Lastly is the slingshot skid shock the same for 2016, 2017, 2018?

Thanks

Anyone care to share opinions??

i have been following on the singleshot and there was an upgraded shock offered to 17 owners and 16 owners and i think it came factory on the 18 sleds. i rode agmans 2018 but did not get into the pressure settings to make it ride best but it did ride better than my 2011 did on factory settings.

i got it going about as fast as mine would do in the same conditions, just was missing my custom clutching and off trail biased skis for some of the riding we did.

A known Yamaha rep around here told me most of the high mileage riders who have had Apex's with the mono's,CK,and not the Single Shot's love the single shots more.. this is with the new upgraded shock. It takes the best of both those skids and combines them..
I do know with my gear I carry and the upgraded shock set to max at 300lbs I have 4 in of rider sag measuring from floor to upper wheel ..scares me.. one tech told me it's fine ..being 1/3 of travel.. but with snow or ice packed in etc I set real low...
