I have a 121 rail in my trailer, I'll take it to my dealer and set it next to the XTX on the show room to see the difference

The "approach angle" will be determined by the extension forward of the swing arm mounting point, the radius of the curved section and swing arm length (driver size and drive shaft location is the same). The arc length of the curved section does not factor into to the equation - assuming it's long enough to be adequate for purpose.

I know this is apples and oranges difference but it would be interesting to see the difference in approach angle compared to an artic cat 600 sno pro or even a polaris. I raced all season against these sleds and they were able to attack the rough stuff much better than I. I know that there alot of other contributing factors but I think the approach angle is part of it.

The only thing I have seen is Hartman inc. extension kit with "Slide Frame Relocation for deep snow and less trenching ", but i have not been able to find any detailed info about it.

The IQ race chassis uses a pretty steep angle of attack. I'm not sure about the Cat. I know what you mean about those sleds ability to go through the bumps. The Cat riders sure look like they were riding with more control than I had when they passed me!
