Well today is the first real good day I've had on the phazer. Lots of snow.. April 20th. By good I mean, a day when I really didn't have to worry about undersnow obstacles.. and wow the riding up here is bigger than I'm used to.
Only real complaint is the skid filling with snow...
The Supertrapp(4 discs) is Greenie approved.. got a nice complement on how quiet it was, they were also impressed when I told them the estimated gas milage.. Also got some nice compliments from a skidoo rev owner and a cat 700 owner, I let them ride it, they thought it was a
blast, despite the obvious lack of power compared to the rev(modded)
Tony Grove, Utah, about 10-15 fresh couple days.
Pipe is starting to bronze nicely... skid however, likes to collect tons of snow
as do the running boards(only when carving powder it does not come from the hole in the tunnel
A little lopsided on the snow buildup on the tunnel(pipe melts the rest)
Tunnel after 2 hours of riding dry utah snow

WOW ....... Doug you gotta share which area this is in. I was sure it was all over for this year. But looking at that area, I may have to drag mine back out for one more go. Wasatch or Uintas ??? ![Yrules :yam: :yam:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/yrules.gif)

WOW!
Those look like great conditions for any time of year.
I'm in Canada and I have to keep my eyes peeled just to find a patch of snow, let alone go snowmobiling... and we almost broke records with all the snow that fell this past winter.

My bad ... got so worked up seeing real decent conditions, mis-read Coug for Doug ... lol. That puts that area about 1.5 hours from me ...... Road Trip !!!

should note, that the road up is a paved 2 lane road, the snow comes and goes for about a mile. So bring wheels, or expect to ride some distances without snow until getting to full time snow. it is possible to drive all the way up to the snow(a subaru was up there today) but I'm not sure how much room there is to turn a big trailer around (sled deck would be perfect)
From the turn off the highway you wouldn't guess there is much snow up top. But its there.

That pipe looks really good, did you notice a difference in power vs stock? and how about sound vs stock?
Cheers,

I can't say for certain any difference in power
maybe a little, but the throttle response is right there.
And it saves a ton of weight over the stock pipe.
As for the sound, it sounds much different.
here are some clips, they are pretty close
to what it sounds like in real life.
Just start up and idle on trailer

Running around mid Rpms..

The 27th isn't a bad day to ride either...
Went up again today, what fun...
Snow was wetter today, but still deep and plenty of untracked stuff.
Couple videos of the exhaust(don't mind the peanut gallery comments.)
But the guy riding my sled, twice my age at 63, is a much better rider
apparently.
Sorry sound quality is junk, didn't have my good video camera with me.

I'm done for the season, I think!
