Has anyone installed as Pantera skid on a Warrior? I've found a good deal on a Pantera skid with Fox shocks and was thinking of installing it on my Turbo Warrior. Even with the anti ratchet drivers the track is ratcheting once you hit 120m + and has damaged my drivers. I know a few of you have installed the 121" skid on the short track. Any info would be appreciated.

That would be interesting. One of my friends ride a Pantera 1000. I have to admit the ride on that baby is pretty smooth. Actually seems a bit better than my Warrior. I wonder about weight. Being a Pantera skid it will have the helper springs that can be engaged for passenger weight. I suppose one could take them off if not required.

The ride is notithe issue here. Its the track ratchetting that I'm trying to get rid of. The turbo has way too much power for the stock skid.

Before you write off the stock skid, check your W-arm. The way you're set up you shouldnt be having any ratcheting issues. Pay close attention for the presence of very fine cracks in the W-arm from the bottom, just forward of the straps. If it is cracked, do NOT just buy another OEM. Weld it back and reinforce it.

Thanks LB I will check it out this week. But I am still going to put that Cat skid in, I got it now, theres no turning back. If the 136 Cat skid does not work good I can always put the Proaction back in.

Too bad you didn't get a Firecat skid, it is 20 lbs lighter than the 121" proaction. Like all cat skids it eliminates the racheting.
The Pantera has to be better then the Proaction. 'm sure you won't be disappointed.
