On every post i have read that the Nytro, rage, venture etc... are in the Deltabox I frame, but i was just reading the 07 brochure and it says they are in the Deltabox II, but it doesnt look like they have changed from 06. Is this a typo in the brochure?

I bet it's a typo.

There is only ONE DB chassis. What they refer to as "II" is simply a change in where the steering post is mounted.

LB is correct, the Delta Box II refers to the rider forward only. Look at the feature for both the Vector GT and the APEX GT. You will see the DB II listed in only the APEX features. Both do however have the second generation steering geometry witch made it's debut on the '05 vector models but never was carried to the RX series sleds.
Here's the link for the vector feature; www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/mod ... tures.aspx and the APEX; www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/mod ... tures.aspx

You can by a new steering post out of B.C. to relocate it forward but I don't think a lot of guys will be pleased with the mods you have to make to your cowling. I had to trim a lot off the back of my Vector cowling to get it to clear the bars. I then had to relocate my gauge to the top of the headlight shroud and run a Nytro windshield because my 4" riser alowed the bars to hit the stock windshield and the riser hit the gauge in the stock location.
To me the steering post mod is worth the unfinished look for the better stand up ergos. Yamaha should just put the Apex body work on the Vector and be done with it since everything fits and looks good. If you do this mod you will want a taller seat.
